WARM GREETINGS
Welcome to Wild Sommers Photography. This website has been a labor of love. I am so excited to capture your cherished moments and so happy you are considering me to be your photographer. My hope is to put you at ease, bring your images to life with movement, prompts for posing, location and style. I am not a one type fits all photographer. My goal is to approach each client with care and consideration. Everyone connects differently and my job is to give you confidence in the images you are hoping to achieve. Wild Sommers Photography is determined to listen to your ideas and provide expertise backed by experience with true investment to each individual. With continued education, a watchful artist eye and time spent with my tools of the trade I've come to value curating each image with my specific editing style. Here you will be able to reach out at any time for help with style guidance, location suggestions, time of day for best lighting, several value mini packages through-out the calendar year and questions that I'm glad to direct in or answer for you. I cannot wait to chat about your photography needs and hope you'll check out my portfolio, Instagram and Facebook to further see current work displayed.
Let’s get to know each other
Welcome, My name is Laurin Sommers
I can't remember the last time I stepped in front of the camera...
Hi, my name is Laurin Sommers. I am the face behind the lens. I love Jesus, my husband, our kids and our church. I function off of prayer, coffee and creativity. I'm a little emo, a little country and a little nerdy. The Office is pretty much the background noise to my long editing days. My husband's meatloaf recipe is the best meal in the world, hands down. (Started singing "hand's down this is the best day I can ever"... in my head if that tells you anything)
I've always been obsessed with taking photos. In the early 2000's we all bought those disposal cameras and then stopped by the local One-Hour Photo, living off a prayer that the edge of your finger wasn't in the corner of every photo. I graduated to using our Community College's Newspaper Cameras and true love was developed. (Get it... love a good pun)
Photography was a hobby for many years but over the last few years I've continued education for both shooting and editing. Shortly after, Wild Sommers Photography was born.
La Fin.
